The club for Alaskan deviants.


Hey superfriends,

Just a quick note to welcome the new member/s that have just or are about to join the group. I have added one more new member today, :iconyoakmama: (my mother i am proud to say), but i know there are many out there just itching to join up. Once we organize all of Alaska we can take over the world, mwhahaha....sorry.

To the rest of the group, i hope all is well and spring brings much inspiration for you. AND of course, nothing is set in stone concerning devMEETs or contests or any of that yet, so we are still (as always) taking suggestions.

Well for the first year we were rather active but slowly things started to become more distant. The person in charge had more and more to do but no one would offer to take over and help the group stay strong.

I know that if I had the time back then I would have been more then glad to take over. Then again I am now gaining more time I might just see if I can take over now if needed.

I'm starting to think we should start a new club for Alaska. I think Alaskan artists should support each others work. This group hasn't had an update in months. I'm about to blow it off I think. Ive met several great ppl by contacting members, but would love an active group.

Yeah it happened what feels like years ago, lol. It was fun hanging out with a few other Alaskans in the art community. Then again two of the people that showed up that day didn't get in the picture. By the way sorry for posting on such an old post.

Yeah, i think we should wait, maybe a month. It is about to be really beautiful outside and what a great way to celebrate the return of green foliage and warm weather with a group of artists that will all capture it through their own eyes AND THEN share it with the rest of the group. I bet we could work out carpooling for our transportationally challenged friends, there is always a solution... just loves to play chauffeur AND he loves to buy people lunch, i know from experience.
Oh, skateland would be oh so awesome...i will break out my bedazzled "SWEET THANG" t-shirt and relearn my dance moves to "Funkytown".

SKATELAND hahahahahaha, kidding. I was thinking Earthquake park but some members don't have vehicles, AND the black snow isn't all gone yet. there is always downtown, a group walk and I think Saturday Market is back now?
